Help with chat at cameras |

I could really use some help with chat at the cameras! Is the chat working and if it is could you possibly give me some advice as to how to get it started? It
has been a year or more since I have been here so I'm a bit behind the times. I hope everyone has been well? I have missed you all but will, health with
standing, attempt a more frequent joining.

Interesting... just tried it and all I got was the terms of chat... but then I clicked on "customize" and then clicked "home" which gave me
a different webpage then the one I have in favorites. From there I could excess the chat. So that might be the problem you are having. I am going to update the
one in favorites. Hope that helps you.

the link is http://www.researchwebcam.net/chatframes.html -- and this is what the main cams
page's "chat and watch" links to -- is that what you all are using? it loaded right up for me . . . let me know how I can help or if I'm not
understanding correctly, please and (((hugs))) dollie!

Iris, what I've discovered is there is not a link to chat when you customize the cams. If you save the customization website then you have to return to the
home page in order to get into chat. Here is a link off my customized favorites http://www.researchwebcam.net/?customize if you check it out you will find the terms of chat but no link to
chat. To get out of that site click on home. I think that is the problem but hey I'm far from perfect lol (((((((((hugs))))))))

ah, I gotcha. why not just place a link in favorites? I actually have a link on my bookmarks bar . . . in both safari and firefox. That way you can always
click it easily no matter where you are or where you're coming from or going to
Once you're in chat you can choose those cams in the customized setup you want (yes, dollie, I'm spoiled to my customized setup too  )

I go to both links but for some reason I am only getting a red x box. I have a new computer and still learning it but I don't seem to know how to get past
this one. Thank you for all your help.

If it is a new computer, you may need to download Java, or update Java if it is already installed.

RED X IMAGE SYMPTOMS: An applet does not load, and the "Java Plug-in Control Panel" shows the following error: java.net.UnknownHostException: www.xxxxx.com at java.net.PlainSocketImpl.connect(Unknown Source) Or, you see an image that looks like a small white box with a Red X in it Or, the browser cannot display the program, and shows the error message "Loading Java Applet Failed..."
